BLAHHH

What is making me not happy:
1. Self Care Exam TOMORROW that I seriously know NOTHING about.
2. The feeling of being away from home. You know being in THE FUNK. My little sister is celebrating her 14th b-day and I have never missed it. Even though she is a big brat, I still love her.
3. That it isn't Friday yet!!!!

What is making me very happy and taking me out of that misery:
Number 1.
COFFEE Need this to stay up to study tonight.
Number 2.
It's been a really long time since I have studied at Barnes and Noble. It was like coming back home. While studying JY asked me if I needed anything from forever21 because she was justttttt under the $50 mark for free shipping. So being the good friend I am so that she could get the free shipping, I scoped out the website and got a few of the essentials.
I LOVE SHOES! Aren't they HAWT?!?!?!
They are even called  'SEXY Strap Stilettos'.
I was hoping that I could wear them whenever I go out and also to our semi formal's Spring Cruise in April.

I also got the Bubble Hem Dress just because.
Can't wait till they arrive at my door!

Which leads to ....
Number 3:
I love that many of my friends here have their own quirks that we are still learning about each other. Like my need of I WANT THIS NOW AND I WILL BUY IT concerning shoes; they have their own compulsions.

Yum to life's little pleasures of coffee, clothes, and shoes.
=D

Now got to try to fit my brain with as much information as I can get about Acne, Lice, Fungal infections, and everything else that I have yet to learn about.

Today is just a very long day that has not even ended yet.

Be Back Soon ;)

Yes I know its 5:30 in the morning but I don't care because I loaded my body with so much caffeine that I am just waiting for its effects to run out of my body by blogging! Just finished studying for the day-I REFUSE to do anymore until after I go to bed and wake up again.

Friday while studying for school-I found out my rotation dates! The excitement of being 'out' and putting my Pharmacy Skills to good use as a intern has kept me distracted for bit and happy that the summer is coming soon.

Now that I know my rotation dates I have to figure everything else out like
-transportation: how will I get to work? =(
-company: who else will be here to keep me company? Rotations is like working so I know I will get lots of time to play. But not sure who I can play with =(
-What will I do for the rest of the summer???  I am going to TRY to find a job as an intern for the rest of the summer. I don't know who will hire someone for only 2 months but I am hoping to entice them with promises of working there every summer and winter break.
Getting some type of employment is #1 right now because I do not have any income to waste!

Just wanted to let friends know that I will be back home for two weeks from 5/9 to 5/20 to get errands done before I have to go back to school so HOLLA AT ME if you want to chill!

Sleepy

Wishing this was me:

The first photo I get when I goggled-searched Sleep. lol

After coming back to the East Coast and studying frantically for an exam this past Tuesday and another graded lab assessment on Wednesday for lab, I feel half awake.

It's sad because I did a 2-hour nap yesterday and I am still exhausted.
Damn it.

Spring Break is OVA =(

Sorry for the late update! Just got out of a Molecular Biology exam.

The start of spring break was me going to Boston via James and so that is where my title is from because he always uses terms like dawg, ova, and yo. So I showed him a bit of Boston but since I wasn't in Boston the whole weekend I wasn't able to show him the nightlife of it all. So next time-if anyone wants to come down during breaks and whatnot-I can house peeps and hopefully show you a good time!

These vacations are deadly. It makes me happy that I get to have fun but it's such a tease. I tried to get work done over spring break and as a result I passed out multiple times from exhaustion from being a tourist during the daytime and pretending I was 21 again from going out almost every night.

I never went anywhere for spring break because I either was working or didn't have any money to go anywhere too crazy fun. So it was an fun trip bonding with the bf in the west coast. The last time I was in LA/Vegas I was under21 and still in middle/high school so didn't get to do too much at night.

But I realize that as i'm getting older, I still want to hold onto my childhood so we got to go to
Universal Studios and Disneyland's California Adventure!

For some reason, many of the mascots really didn't like him other than Lisa Simpson.
And HOP was a pervert.

And this is PC trying to look better than me playing Toy Story Mania. At first I had the higher score but he couldn't handle that so he went at it!

At night got to hang out with the SW and AL:@ Midori's Sushi (an ALL YOU CAN EAT within one hour sushi restaurant) and then chilled a bit at SN.

@ The Standard which is a rooftop bar with a pool. Me and the BF would have totally gone in if we had our bathing suits.

Both BD and SN ( friends of the bf) were great hosts and housed us and took us out to eat dinner and play at night.

Such as the club called "The Colony" in West Hollywood. I have never been to a club where there was a mob of people hanging out around the roped area waiting to get 'picked' to go inside. I also have never been to a club where you HAVE to get there by 10pm to get inside. It was crazy but we got in and it wasn't too bad. There were a lot of girls and it was nice to be able to chill and not get attacked by guys.

In Vegas- it was just me and the bf. It was sunny enough to tan by the pool during the day and walk out with just a simple cardigan at night.

It was nice to just be together and walk around throughout the hotels and notice the differences in each one. It was both our first time seeing the Fountains of Bellagio's water/music/light show and sipping on Frozen Hot Chocolate at Serendipity 3 so that was very romantic.

It was bf's first time doing touristy things and it was my first time celebrating the WestCoast nightlife so it was an adventure for the both of us.

All in all-Thanks Babe for spoiling me and the wonderful memories.
I loved it!

Next trip is on me to Canobie Lake Park!
<3 ya!

BL's 25th

The weekend of BL 25th, I came back home to surprise her because for some odd reason I always have a hard time for her birthday. I always make it to only a small part of it and never the whole thing. Because it was the 25th I wanted to come back and surprise her. Since I wasn't sure what to give BL for her bday, I just gave her myself. Lame I know!

With the help of HL, he picked me up at the greyhound and we went to Howl at the Moon earlier than the rest of the party.
Howl at the Moon is a piano duet bar and its really cool because the piano players play instruments and sing whatever song you request from them. They can sing a range from old school classics like Journey's Don't Stop Believein' to current pop music such as Lady Gaga or to Eminem's Rap.

Becky was shocked and surprised and I was glad to make her happy! So from there, drinking ensued.

The party continued to the weekend after which was my first weekend of spring break. Got to spend it with Marlicky, which is now termed HK(hello kitty) girls to include me in it!
Went shopping at Woodbury outlet and there are so many high end stores so it was fun to window shop. The only thing I literally could afford was a hello kitty shirt. We each got one and wore it around the city.

Went to eat at this Japanese Tapas restaurant in New York Midtown Manhattan which was a first for all of us. Pretty yummy.

B was very amused by the pretty centerpieces.

Another unique item this restaurant also has is a TOTO toliet. I remembered these from Japan and only used it once and it was so awkward but had to use it again because it was offered. Its more relaxing than I remember. These seats are heated so it gave my bum a nice feeling. It was a bit ticklish when I used the bidet. A new thing that I don't remember from before is there is a dryer option!

The next day- did some more window shopping around SOHO. A lot of shops had some pieces that were  some sort of 80s comeback in clothing.
If you have an ultra sweet tooth- go to Cupcakes by Melissa. BL took us there but it was too sweet for me that I only had one.

Then lunch at Joe Shanghais for their famous Xiao Long Bao and saw Winette for a few minutes.

A great start to the spring break weekend with my girls and hopefully a happy birthday for a best friend.
