The start of a romantic weekend

For the fourth of July weekend, which is also the same as our 6 month anniversary and a friend's wedding, we got to spend some time together.

In preparation for the wedding, I wanted to get my nails done but french mani and pedi are super expensive especially if you have no job.

And dating someone who is Vietnamese has so many perks involved! Not only do I get to learn the secrets of making pho and other yummy foods, but I get the advantage of getting my nails done for free by a professional.

For our anniversary, we decided to go to Neptune's Oysters.

It was our first time eating at a raw bar and it was a bit overwhelming because we didn't know what to get so we decided to try every oyster that they offered. 

Favs: Ninigret from Charlestown, RI & Tatamagouche from Willapa Bay, WA. 

ok Now gotta go get ready for the wedding :)
