New Beginnings 2011

Dec, 17. 2010: 

Today was officially the first day of vacation and I am taking every opportunity until school starts to take a break, relax my poor brain, and living life to the fullest.

Thanks to JY, the Lil Wayne 'Single' was stuck in my head most of the day. 

I AM SINGLE. I want to do what I want- when I want to. I don't need to answer to anyone. I am on my own timeline. People may think that I am saying that  and crying inside. No, I'm not. I take what I have and make it work. 

Since the new year is coming up and apparently the world will end 2012, I need to make resolutions for myself that I will actually listen to and aim for before I die.

I will first say that as a resolution

(1) I will be selfish because in reality, I never am. I need to take care of myself first and foremost because no one else will.

(2) I need to stop worrying too much about people. I can't change someone, even if it's from the best intentions. 

(3) Or be oversensitive in situations because most likely the other person is more sensitive than I am, and I need to just suck it up and let it go.

Just a healthy resolution to be said on the side: Aim to workout once to twice a week!

Today:

It's amusing because I wrote this right after the semester ended in the middle of December. What I wrote half a month ago doesn't even matter to me anymore because so much has happened since then. It's been a world wind adventure in Boston and I'm cherishing every moment because this is it. I feel very blessed and grateful for the life I have. I promise that I won't take it for granted.
